About the role

Susquehanna Obstetrics, Gynecology and Nurse Midwifery is seeking a full‑time Medical Assistant to support providers in two Maryland offices. The role combines clinical and administrative duties to ensure efficient patient care.

Key responsibilities

Prepare patients for examinations, record vital signs, and assist providers during exams and procedures.
Administer medications, perform injections, conduct phlebotomy, and collect laboratory specimens.
Maintain exam room supplies, clean and sterilize instruments, and uphold a safe work environment.
Answer phones, schedule appointments, triage test results, and handle patient communications.

Required profile

High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent healthcare training preferred.
Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Required skills

Phlebotomy

Specimen collection (blood, urine, pathology, fecal)
