OBGYN Physician Assistant – Full-time in Tyler, TX

About the role

UT Health East Texas is seeking a board‑eligible/board‑certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its outpatient OBGYN team in Tyler, Texas. The position is full‑time, with a Monday‑Thursday 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM schedule and a shortened Friday (8:00 AM‑1:00 PM). You will see 15‑20 patients per day across four clinic days in Tyler and one day in a rural clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient OBGYN care to a diverse patient population.
• Perform GYN biopsy procedures and contraceptive services.
• Manage a daily volume of 15‑20 patients, ensuring high‑quality, compassionate care.
• Participate in one weekly clinic day at a rural location.

Required profile

• Board‑eligible or board‑certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Experience in outpatient OBGYN practice preferred.
• Willingness to work the specified schedule and travel to a rural clinic one day per week.
