Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Urology (Full‑Time)

About the role

This full‑time position supports outpatient urology care in a collaborative environment with residents, fellows, attendings and staff. The role involves primary and urgent medical management, emergency stabilization, and education of trainees.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the urology outpatient clinic under supervision of the Medical Director.
• Perform primary, urgent and emergency medical management, including stabilization of critically ill patients.
• Teach residents, medical students and staff; participate in staff development and education.
• Coordinate patient education, discharge planning and collaborate with nurses, PCCs and discharge coordinators.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in nursing or a Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant medicine/Health Sciences from an approved program.
• Current APRN license in the state of practice (Family, Adult/Geriatric or Pediatric) OR current Physician Assistant license, NCCPA certified.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Eligibility for prescriptive authority as defined by state boards.

Required skills

• Proficient computer skills for data entry and retrieval, including Windows‑style applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Strong interpersonal skills and reliable transportation for travel between facilities.
