Nurse Manager – Endoscopy

About the role

Join the Outpatient Endoscopy Unit at Indian River Hospital, part of the Cleveland Clinic Health System, to lead nursing care for minimally invasive procedures. You will oversee patient care from admission to discharge and support the unit’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage professional nursing practice and delivery of care on the Endoscopy unit.
• Establish clinical direction, supervise staff, and maintain quality and patient‑care standards.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting patient care and develop quality initiatives.
• Analyze staffing structure, determine needs, and oversee recruitment, performance evaluation, and termination processes.
• Promote staff development, participate in clinical research, and evaluate new products.
• Approve purchases, manage inventory, and assist in budget development and monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) and current RN licensure in the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least three years of recent clinical nursing experience, including a minimum of one year in a management role.
• High degree of clinical expertise in endoscopy or related specialty.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution skills.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of JCAHO and other regulatory standards.
• Experience with budgeting, inventory control, and quality‑improvement processes.
