About the role

The Non-Registered Monitor Technician works on Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus, monitoring electrophysiological data from patients during EEG procedures. This full‑time, night‑shift position supports a high‑tech, patient‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Gather data using closed‑circuit audio/visual equipment and electrophysiological recording instruments.
  • Operate surface recording electrodes and maintain daily logs of patient status.
  • Assist with positioning, transporting, and moving patients and equipment.

Required profile

  • Associate’s Degree in Electroneurodiagnostics or related field (or two years direct patient care experience).
  • One year experience as a non‑registered EEG Technician.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to obtain ABRET Registered EEG Technologist credential within two years of hire.

Required skills

  • Use of electrophysiological recording instruments.
  • Operation of closed‑circuit audio/visual monitoring equipment.
  • Knowledge of surface electrode placement.
