About the role

The Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking a board‑certified/board‑eligible Non‑Invasive Cardiologist to join a dynamic group of ten specialists. The position combines direct patient care, academic teaching, and participation in clinical research within a large academic medical center.

Key responsibilities

Provide comprehensive non‑invasive cardiac diagnostics, including multimodality imaging.
Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in cardiology.
Engage in clinical research programs and support structural heart interventions.

Required profile

Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Non‑Invasive Cardiology.
Experience as a multimodality cardiac imager with advanced echocardiography and TEE expertise.
Interest in academic medicine and collaborative team environments.

Required skills

Multimodality cardiac imaging.
Advanced echocardiography.
Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).
