Night Shift MRI Technologist (7pm‑7am)

About the role

This full‑time night‑shift position (7 pm – 7 am) ensures patient safety and high‑quality imaging in the MRI suite on Kings Highway. The technologist will follow established safety protocols, mentor junior staff, and support physicians during interventional procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Verify physician orders, explain procedures to patients, and operate MRI equipment independently according to protocol, including IV placement.
• Review images for diagnostic quality, perform quality‑control checks, and document compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist with departmental operations such as inventory management, equipment maintenance, and staff scheduling.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; 6 months supervised MRI clinical scanning experience (clinical MRI experience preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ARRT registration or equivalent imaging certification (ARDMS, NMTCB, etc.).
• Advanced MRI certification recognized by the ACR Registry to be obtained within two years of hire.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MRI equipment operation and Radiology Information Systems (RIS).
• Computer literacy with web‑based applications and software.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality.
