Night Shift Machine Operator – 12hr Shift

About the role

Ocean Spray is hiring night‑shift Machine Operators for its Tomah production plant. The position runs a 12‑hour 2‑2‑3 schedule (4 p.m. – 4 a.m.) with alternating weekends off, offering a starting rate of $24.66 per hour plus a $1.25 night differential and clear pathways for advancement.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, start‑up, shut‑down and perform basic troubleshooting on processing and packaging equipment.
• Maintain a constant flow of juice, manage inventory, and record production data in Maximo and SAP.
• Load and unload tankers, handle chemicals, and complete required testing and paperwork.
• Perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and general equipment maintenance.
• Follow food‑safety, GMP, and lock‑out/tag‑out procedures while wearing required PPE.

Required profile

• Ability to obtain or hold a Forklift Certification.
• Physical ability to lift up to 48 lb occasionally and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work night hours and follow safety policies.
• Team‑oriented attitude with good communication skills.
• Understanding of plant GMP and sanitation standards.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Use of Maximo and SAP for record‑keeping.
• Lock‑out/Tag‑out (LOTO) procedures.
• Basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Inventory management and data entry on control screens.
