Night Auditor – Front Office

About the role

The Night Auditor supports front desk operations and guest services during overnight hours, ensuring accurate accounting of hotel revenues and high guest satisfaction from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Balance and audit room revenue, taxes, cashier reports, food & beverage and telephone revenue, and prepare daily management and accounting reports.
• Assist guests with check‑in, check‑out, and any inquiries or complaints, maintaining confidentiality and high service standards.
• Handle cash and credit‑card transactions, process guest accounts efficiently, and ensure accurate input of information into the hotel’s computer system.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel features, rates, promotions, and local attractions, and follow safety and security procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Previous front‑desk experience, preferably with Hilton brand and Hilton OnQ system.
• Accounting background is a plus but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Hilton OnQ or similar property management systems.
• Ability to accurately input data into moderately complex computer systems.
• Cash handling and credit‑card transaction processing.
