News Talk Account Executive

About the role

iHeartMedia, the largest audio company in America, is hiring a News/Talk Account Executive in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The role suits someone who loves news/talk radio and wants to sell broadcast and digital marketing products to clients, using both in-person meetings and daily cold calling.

Key responsibilities

• Learn the broadcast and digital marketing products offered by iHeart.
• Identify and develop new business through in-person client meetings and research.
• Cultivate existing business using the full suite of products.
• Collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue and create marketing campaigns.
• Deliver data-backed sales presentations to meet clients' expectations.

Required profile

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, expert negotiator and proactive.
• Excellent relationship-building, problem-solving and persuasive communication skills.
• Able to plan and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with cold calling and outreach to prospective clients.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance and a high school diploma (college degree preferred).
• Digital/media sales experience is a plus; experience with multi-platform campaigns, analytics, iHeart or audio advertising, and market connections are a bonus.
