About the role

Radiant Industries is seeking a highly motivated new graduate Electrical Engineer to support the design and validation of portable nuclear microreactor systems. This full‑time position is based in El Segundo, CA and offers the chance to work on cutting‑edge power technology.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing, modeling, and analyzing electrical systems and components for microreactors.
• Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of hardware and instrumentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and nuclear engineering teams to ensure system reliability and safety.
• Contribute to documentation, schematics, and technical reports, and participate in lab and prototyping work as needed.

Required profile

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Graduating in December 2026 or Spring 2027.
• Foundational knowledge of circuit design, power systems, or control systems.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, SPICE, or CAD software.
• Knowledge of circuit design, power systems, and control systems.
