New Grad RN Resident – Stroke/Telemetry

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a newly graduated Registered Nurse to join the Stroke/Telemetry unit at South Pointe Hospital. This night‑shift residency position provides hands‑on patient care on a fast‑paced medical unit while participating in a one‑year accredited Nurse Residency program.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients with conditions such as pneumonia, heart failure, asthma, COPD, and ventilator‑dependent cases.
• Collaborate with a success coach and interdisciplinary team to assess patient acuity, prioritize care, and document accurately in medical records.
• Participate in the residency curriculum, including online modules, simulation labs, and hands‑on training.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN nursing program.
• Current state RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• New graduate or less than one year of acute inpatient RN experience.

Required skills
