About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic Health System’s South Pointe Hospital as a New Grad RN Resident on the 7th Floor Med/Surg and Observation Unit, providing comprehensive care to adult patients with diverse diagnoses.

Key responsibilities

• Assist caregivers with delivering exceptional patient care from admission through discharge.
• Interact directly with patients, families, and visitors, offering education and support.
• Participate in the one‑year accredited Nurse Residency program, including online modules, simulation lab and hands‑on training.
• Document patient care in medical records and respond promptly to clinical data indicating risk.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN nursing program.
• Current state RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• New graduate or less than one year of acute inpatient RN experience.
