About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Digestive Disease and Surgery Institute is seeking new graduate registered nurses to join a residency program that provides comprehensive clinical training across gastroenterology, hepatology, transplant, colorectal, and metabolic surgery units.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care under the guidance of a success coach, following established policies and protocols.
Participate in a residency core curriculum tailored to individual learning needs.
Prioritize patient care based on acuity, patient preference, and resource availability.
Respond to clinical data indicating patient risk and take corrective action.
Document care accurately in patient medical records.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN nursing program.
Current state RN licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
New graduate RN or less than one year of RN experience.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Ability to perform full range of body motions, lift patients, and stand for extended periods.
