Neurosurgery Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)

About the role

The Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking two Night Shift Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners (CRNP) to join the Neurosurgery team at the Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem, PA. This position is open to new graduates and involves in‑house calls, OR time, and weekend/holiday rotations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Neurosurgery department during night shift (7 pm‑7 am).
• Participate in in‑house calls and share call responsibilities with the team.
• Assist in surgical suites and ambulatory surgical areas, including skull‑base, microsurgery, stereotactic radiosurgery, and endoscopic procedures.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team on neurotrauma cases.

Required profile

• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) credential.
• Open to new graduates; willingness to work night shift and weekend/holiday rotations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain medical, DEA, and malpractice insurance coverage.

Required skills

• Neurosurgery clinical knowledge.
• Experience or training in skull‑base surgery, microsurgery, stereotactic radiosurgery, and endoscopic surgery.
• Proficiency in operating room (OR) procedures.
