Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist (Full Time with Call)

About the role

Jupiter Medical Center, ranked #1 for safety, quality and patient satisfaction in Palm Beach County, is hiring a full-time Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist who takes call. The technologist assists in routine diagnostic, complex invasive neuro and peripheral interventions, including cerebral aneurysm coils, vascular malformations and stroke interventions, and supports procedures referred by oncology, trauma, urology, gastroenterology and nephrology.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in neuro-interventional surgical procedures and invasive interventions
• Follow physician protocols and guidelines for diagnosis and treatment
• Provide quality imaging based on knowledge of human anatomy and pathology
• Order and stock supplies for special procedures and the biplane suite
• Maintain aseptic technique and scrub or circulate in special procedure and biplane suites
• Know catheters, anatomy, positioning and angiography techniques
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• 2 years of college or a graduate of an accredited imaging program, or a certificate/degree program in a health science
• Current Florida license if applicable
• ARRT or RCIS, or obtain within 18 months
• AHA BLS certification for healthcare providers
• Minimum 1 year of neuro-interventional experience; 2 years clinical training or 1 year procedural experience preferred
• Proficient computer skills and excellent verbal and written communication
• Willingness to take call
