Network Consultant I (On-site)

About the role

Netsync Network Solutions seeks a Network Consultant I to design, implement, and support Cisco‑based network solutions for enterprise clients in the New Orleans and Baton Rouge areas. The role involves hands‑on engineering, project leadership, and client interaction on complex networking projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical design and delivery of complex Cisco SDN, SD‑WAN, and wireless solutions across multiple industry verticals.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, create detailed designs, and produce operational documentation.
• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot Cisco hardware and software in customer environments.
• Provide Tier 3 support and knowledge transfer to client staff.
• Maintain project documentation and nurture relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of network engineering experience, including LAN/WAN design and security practices.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Active CCNP certification; CCIE preferred.
• Experience in the healthcare vertical is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 lb and travel up to 50 % of the time.
