Network Consultant I – Cisco Infrastructure (On-site)

About the role

Netsync Network Solutions seeks a Network Consultant I to design, implement, and support Cisco network solutions for enterprise clients. The role involves on‑site work across the greater New Orleans and Baton Rouge areas, with significant travel to customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex networking, SDN, and SD‑WAN projects as the senior technical resource.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather business and technical requirements.
• Design, install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco LAN/WAN infrastructures.
• Produce detailed design and operational documentation and provide Tier 3 support.
• Maintain project documentation and nurture client and partner relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of network engineering experience, including LAN/WAN design and implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Active CCNP certification; CCIE preferred.
• Experience in the healthcare vertical and ability to lift 50 lb.

Required skills

• Cisco routers, Catalyst switches, Catalyst Center.
• Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing protocols.
• Cisco WLC, access points, and Meraki switching/wireless.
• SD‑WAN and SD‑Access knowledge (plus).
• Strong client management, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
