Naval Aviation Maintenance and Sustainment Analyst

About the role

MANTECH seeks a motivated Naval Aviation Maintenance & Sustainment Analyst to support the Training Analyst Program (TAP) at either Patuxent River, MD or Oceana, VA. The role involves collecting and analyzing maintenance data to assess warfighting effectiveness and sustainment of aircraft and weapon systems.

Key responsibilities

• Collect data, develop tools, and synthesize reports to support operational decisions.
• Track performance metrics for aircraft health, maintenance processes, and support equipment.
• Provide comprehensive logistics support to senior managers and program offices across Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements.
• Execute ILS and Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) test planning and support weapon system supportability tasks.
• Support SMEs in domains such as IMRL, support equipment, packaging & preservation, and technical data.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience (or high school with 11+ years).
• Experience with Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) methodologies per MIL-HDBK-1390 or SAE AS1390.
• Ability to travel up to 25% for training events and technical exchanges.
• Current or active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Required skills

• Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) tools and standards.
• Database and analytics proficiency using fleet management information systems.
• Hands‑on experience with LORA software such as COMPASS, EDCAS, SLICwave, or PowerLog‑J.
• Aviation maintenance background supporting fleet operations or maintenance control programs.
