National Ministry Director

About the role

International Friendships, Inc. (IFI) seeks a visionary National Ministry Director to lead its International Student Ministry (ISM) across the United States. This full‑time, flexible position can be performed remotely, allowing you to serve from anywhere in the country while aligning with IFI’s faith‑based mission.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the national strategic direction for ISM, supporting growth at 50+ local sites.
• Design scalable ministry systems, including volunteer pathways, discipleship models, and partnership frameworks.
• Establish national metrics, evaluation tools, and reporting processes to monitor local effectiveness.
• Identify trends and emerging opportunities, proposing strategic responses to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with the Chief Program Officer on multi‑year strategy, resource allocation, and organizational priorities.
• Oversee the launch of new ISM sites, providing readiness frameworks and support structures.
• Lead a national team of Regional/Area Coaches, creating coaching frameworks, accountability structures, and resource toolkits.
• Provide macro‑level analysis and guidance to ensure spiritual health and mission alignment of local teams.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in strategic leadership within a faith‑based or nonprofit setting.
• Strong track record of building and scaling ministry or program operations.
• Ability to mentor and develop coaches and local leaders.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
