National Account Customer Service Representative

About the role

The National Account Customer Service Representative provides world‑class support to both internal and external customers, handling high‑volume shipping inquiries for R+L Carriers' largest shippers. This full‑time position works closely with Sales Directors and Operations to ensure smooth freight movement across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver timely problem resolution and exceptional service to internal and external customers.
• Manage service and exception reports for national account customers.
• Coordinate with service centers to guarantee on‑time deliveries.
• Assist with MyRLC login requests and customer portal access.
• Support the general customer‑care call queue as needed.

Required profile

• Positive attitude and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment handling high call and email volumes.
• Comfort dealing with adverse situations such as freight issues and problem resolution.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
