  • Help close out reliability issues, prepare NASA advisories and GIDEP alerts, and develop part specifications and test procedures.
  • Assist contracted test labs and part manufacturers, and review military and industry EEE standards for NASA programs.

Required profile

  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

  • Understanding of passive components, microcircuits, hybrids, semiconductors and discrete devices.
  • Accelerated reliability testing, reliability theory and failure analysis.
  • High-reliability military/DoD or space hardware parts and test specifications.
  • Part management plans, destructive physical analysis (DPA) and sourcing in the electronics industry.

Desired: M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field, more than 7-10 years of experience, and knowledge of NASA or aerospace EEE parts standards. Pay range: $76,000 - $155,700 USD.
