MSP Procurement and SaaS Licensing Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an MSP Procurement & SaaS Licensing Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of technology assets. You will be responsible for vendor sourcing, contract negotiation, and optimizing SaaS license usage for both the MSP and its clients.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor license utilization across the organization to identify and eliminate unused software (shelfware).
• Act as the primary point of contact for vendors such as Microsoft, AWS, and Cisco, negotiating volume discounts and favorable SLAs.
• Conduct regular internal audits to ensure software usage matches legal entitlements and avoid true‑up penalties.
• Automate onboarding and offboarding workflows using SaaS Management Platforms to reclaim licenses promptly.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT/Security, and Operations to align budgeting, compliance, and tool availability.

Required profile

• Strong negotiation skills to secure better margins and contract terms.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to track expiration dates for hundreds of licenses.
• Strategic foresight to anticipate technology shifts and their impact on licensing costs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SaaS management tools such as BetterCloud, Torii, or Zylo.
• Advanced Excel or BI tool expertise for data analysis and forecasting.
