MRI Technologist – Indian River Hospital

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking an MRI Technologist to join the Ancillary MRI team at Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach, Florida. You will operate state‑of‑the‑art MRI scanners, capture diagnostic images, and support a collaborative, patient‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and operate MRI equipment, position patients, and acquire images according to physician orders and protocols.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area, inspect equipment, and coordinate imaging data transmission.
• Provide timely copies of studies, manage supplies, and assist new staff during orientation.
• Collaborate with department leadership to meet performance goals and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT, ARMRIT, or equivalent MRI certification in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing imaging services.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating magnetic resonance imaging scanners.
• Patient positioning and safety monitoring during MRI procedures.
• Interpretation of imaging protocols and execution of routine, emergent, and special procedures.
• Equipment inspection and basic troubleshooting.
