Mobile Application Developer

About the role

INFICON is seeking a Mobile Application Developer to build and evolve iOS and Android applications used by HVAC/R technicians in the field. The role combines mobile engineering, embedded device communication, and applied AI to deliver real‑time sensor insights and actionable guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features for iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) and Android applications.
• Implement Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Wi‑Fi, and NFC connectivity to pair smartphones with service tools.
• Capture, visualize, and process live sensor data such as pressure, temperature, refrigerant mass, micron levels, and combustion readings.
• Integrate AI capabilities that transform raw data into clear technician guidance.
• Collaborate closely with firmware engineers, product managers, UX designers, and field technicians.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mobile development for iOS and Android platforms.
• Hands‑on knowledge of BLE, Wi‑Fi, and NFC communication protocols.
• Experience handling real‑time sensor data and integrating AI or machine‑learning components.
• Ability to work in cross‑functional teams and incorporate feedback from field technicians.
