Mobile App Developer

About the role

Songscription is looking for a founding Mobile App Developer to build the next generation of AI‑powered music learning tools. You will create the mobile experience for our flagship transcription product and later expand into a new AI‑native learning app.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end mobile development for iOS and Android, owning the full codebase.
• Design and implement core infrastructure such as database architecture, authentication, and payment systems.
• Rapidly translate product specifications and design mock‑ups into production‑ready code, iterating based on user feedback.
• Prototype new features, refine them using usage data, and ship updates at high velocity.
• Mentor junior developers and help define engineering culture and best practices as the team grows.

Required profile

• 3+ years of full‑time mobile development experience with consumer‑facing apps.
• Proven ability to ship and maintain apps with significant user bases.
• Strong command of modern mobile frameworks and full‑stack technologies.
• Deep technical problem‑solving skills and the capacity to teach new approaches.
• Excellent collaboration with product and design teams and solid product intuition.
