Mission Project Lead

About the role

As a Mission Project Lead, you will be embedded with Quindar’s engineering teams to drive day‑to‑day execution of U.S. DoD, IC, and civil mission efforts. You will coordinate work, resolve blockers, and ensure alignment with program milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly within engineering teams to coordinate execution against program priorities and milestones.
• Maintain visibility into active work, owners, dependencies, due dates, and completion criteria.
• Facilitate planning sessions, stand‑ups, milestone check‑ins, and retrospectives.
• Identify and drive resolution of technical, resource, and coordination blockers.
• Track engineering execution against milestones, flag schedule risk, and coordinate recovery actions.
• Provide concise internal status updates and maintain execution artifacts.

Required profile

• Active clearance or ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance; Top Secret/SCI eligibility preferred.
• 3+ years supporting software engineering, technical programs, mission operations, or systems engineering.
• Experience with software development teams and Agile practices.
• Strong organizational skills, detail‑orientation, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across engineering, product, and program teams.

Required skills

• Familiarity with iterative/Agile development practices.
• Understanding of space systems, ground software, or U.S. Government programs (preferred).
