Mid Logistics Support

About the role

Amentum is hiring a Mid Logistics Support professional to support the United States Central Command J2 Directorate through logistics support. The work supports the decision-making of senior leaders, including the CENTCOM Commander, and has indirect impact on the battlefield and on strategic decisions across the Intelligence Community. The schedule is 5 days a week, 8 hours a day.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Facilities and Logistics office with receipt, storage and issue of supplies and equipment, and pick-up and delivery
• Warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, and hazardous material management
• Property disposition, fleet management and classified waste destruction
• Update the Logistics SharePoint site on a weekly basis
• Follow safety, quality and procedure-compliance requirements, including training, emergency response and safety committee participation

Required profile

• 4 years of logistics experience
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform basic office work
• TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
• Forklift qualification
• Drug-free workplace requirement, with pre-hire drug screening
