About the role
Our client, a growing full‑service law firm, is seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions Corporate Associate for its New York office. This position offers strong deal exposure, direct client interaction, and a collaborative environment for attorneys with 2–5 years of M&A experience.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate merger, stock purchase, and asset purchase agreements, letters of intent, and related transaction documents.
- Support buyers, sellers, and management teams in M&A and other complex corporate transactions.
- Conduct due diligence and coordinate transaction closings.
- Advise emerging and growth‑stage companies on formations, governance, capital raises, and restructurings.
- Review and negotiate commercial contracts.
- Assist with joint ventures and capital raises; commercial real‑estate experience is a plus.
Required profile
- 2–5 years of verifiable M&A experience.
- Admission to the New York Bar and good standing.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment with meticulous attention to detail.

- Hybrid work schedule (4 days onsite, 1 day remote).
- Competitive salary range of $145,000–$185,000.
