Member of Technical Staff, Principal Biostatistician

About the role

Ataraxis AI is a clinical AI research lab focused on multi‑modal AI and precision medicine. As a Member of Technical Staff, Principal Biostatistician you will lead statistical evaluation of AI models that predict patient outcomes and treatment response, working closely with engineers, scientists, and clinical partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement statistical evaluation plans for Ataraxis AI models.
• Write applications for access to data from completed clinical trials.
• Evaluate AI models on data from completed clinical trials.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists.
• Partner with academic and industrial researchers on joint projects.
• Contribute to regulatory submissions.
• Present findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders and support scientific publications.
• Mentor junior biostatisticians and data scientists.

Required profile

• PhD in statistics, biostatistics, or equivalent experience.
• Strong track record of peer‑reviewed publications in biostatistics.
• Extensive experience developing statistical analysis plans for oncology clinical studies.
• Proven problem‑solving ability, data visualization expertise, and reproducible research practices.
• Excellent proficiency in Python and R.
• Experience handling large, complex biomedical datasets (genomic, imaging, clinical).
