About the role
This position assumes unit responsibility for practice, quality of care, and service delivery, providing leadership and support to optimize staff performance and patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Ensures quality of care and patient satisfaction through unit‑specific systems and improvements.
- Ensures operational profitability with preliminary budgets, performance data, system reporting, and inventory management.
- Provides direct patient care using the nursing process and communicates pertinent information to patients, families, and staff.
- Manages, develops, retains and inspires an engaged workforce.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN.
- Minimum 3 years RN experience, including at least 1 year as a charge nurse, supervisor or leader.
- Current RN license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational and time‑management abilities.
