About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical unit at Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach, Florida. This night‑shift position (7:00 pm‑7:00 am) supports patients on the 4 South Medical Diabetes Unit, including those requiring insulin drips.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions.
Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and follow physician orders.
Assess discharge needs and educate patients and families.
Participate in unit committees, conferences, and skill‑enhancement activities.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
Current state RN licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
At least one year of acute‑care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Ability to perform full range of motion, lift patients, and handle medical equipment.
