About the role

Join the 4 North Medical/Surgical Unit at Indian River Hospital, a Cleveland Clinic facility in Vero Beach, FL. This PRN night position provides direct patient care on a diverse unit handling GI distress, respiratory issues, seizures and more.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care and implement, monitor, and update patient care plans.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and document patient conditions.
Assess and coordinate patient discharge needs and educate patients and families.
Collaborate with caregivers, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality care.

Required profile

Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
Current state RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
At least one year of acute care RN experience or licensed military RN experience.
Physical ability to lift patients and work under stressful, irregular hours.
