Medical Technologist – Night Shift (Full Time)

About the role

The Medical Technologist prepares and receives specimens, performs a wide range of laboratory tests and calculations, and provides critical data for diagnosis and treatment. The role also includes quality‑control activities, equipment calibration, and occasional phlebotomy while safeguarding patient confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Perform, develop and interpret routine and specialized laboratory tests independently within established time frames.
• Analyze and record quality‑control results, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, documenting corrective actions as needed.
• Participate in performance‑improvement projects and manage supply and reagent inventory.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science or a related scientific field.
• Current Clinical Lab Scientist Generalist license in the state of practice (or obtain within 180 days of hire).
• ASCP, AMT or AAB generalist certification to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows‑based computer applications and data entry.
• Phlebotomy techniques.
