Medical Science Liaison – Texas

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will act as a high‑level scientific peer and primary conduit between Bausch Health and the healthcare community across Texas. This role partners with clinical operations, medical affairs, and field colleagues to bring scientific insight to market strategy and support trial site selection and patient recruitment.

Key responsibilities

• Cultivate long‑term scientific partnerships with key medical experts (KMEs) in academic, clinical, and community settings.
• Deliver balanced, evidence‑based clinical presentations and lead deep‑dive scientific discussions on complex disease states and therapeutic pipelines.
• Represent Bausch Health at major medical and scientific congresses, facilitating scientific exchange and synthesising latest clinical breakthroughs.
• Systematically collect and communicate "voice of the customer" insights to inform global medical strategy.
• Partner with Clinical Operations to identify potential trial sites and support patient recruitment.

Required profile

• In‑depth understanding of Gastroenterology/Hepatology therapeutic areas.
• Proven ability to engage and maintain relationships with KMEs and healthcare decision‑makers.
• Strong scientific communication skills, capable of presenting complex data to diverse audiences.
• Experience collaborating in a matrixed, cross‑functional environment.
