Urrly · Skillman
Job description
About the role
A growing, physician-led specialty-care organization is looking for a Medical Practice Manager to run three allergy and asthma practices in Skillman, Flemington and Hamilton, New Jersey. The role is based primarily in Skillman and is not a first-time manager position: the ideal candidate has already led a physician practice, outpatient clinic or comparable ambulatory operation. The pay is $90,000-$110,000 per year.
Key responsibilities
- Lead daily operations across the three sites, keeping scheduling, coverage, patient flow, supplies, service standards and practice policies consistent.
- Identify bottlenecks and improve access, referrals, prior authorizations, testing coordination, provider templates, handoffs and patient experience.
- Use EHR and practice-management systems to track labor, staffing, overtime, schedules, supplies, volume, access, spending and performance metrics, balancing access, productivity, capacity, quality and cost with billing and revenue-cycle partners.
- Lead clinical, clerical and provider-support teams through expectations, coaching, training, scheduling, onboarding and accountability.
- Partner with physicians and advanced practice providers on schedules, staffing, patient flow and change.
- Support HIPAA, OSHA, safety and practice policies across the three locations.
Required profile
- Experience managing a medical practice, outpatient clinic or comparable ambulatory operation.
- 5+ years of healthcare management or progressive healthcare leadership experience.
- Multi-site leadership experience or equivalent scope and readiness to lead across three sites.
- Hands-on ownership of financial or KPI-based operating decisions such as staffing, labor, overtime, supplies, volume, access, spending or workflow performance.
- Experience leading mixed clinical and clerical teams and working closely with physicians.
- Full-time, on-site presence in Skillman with regular coverage of Flemington and Hamilton.
- Preferred: experience in allergy, asthma, immunology, ENT, audiology, dermatology, pulmonary or another complex specialty practice, and experience standardizing workflows and improving access, referrals, authorizations, scheduling or handoffs.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration or a related field; relevant operating experience can substitute.
