Medical Doctor – Internal Medicine/Family Practice

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Medical Doctor to join our health‑care team and provide comprehensive care to adult patients in an outpatient setting. The role supports the organization’s mission to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered services.

Key responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat a wide range of medical conditions, including outpatient management of HIV disease.
• Maintain a patient caseload that meets quality‑of‑care and productivity standards.
• Communicate regularly with other health‑care providers and staff regarding patient needs.
• Complete all required documentation, including progress notes, forms for data‑collection systems, and regulatory reporting.
• Attend medical staff meetings, conferences, and continuing‑education activities.
• Teach and supervise paramedical personnel, participate in peer‑review and quality‑improvement activities.
• Adhere to infection‑control protocols and report any unusual occurrences promptly.

Required profile

• Graduation from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Osteopathic Medicine residency.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
• Active medical licensure in the State of New York.
• Progressive clinical experience in adult patient care.
