Medical Assistant – Sleep Clinic (Full Time)

About the role

The Medical Assistant will provide individualized medical care to patients in the Sleep Clinic, supporting both in‑person and remote interactions under the supervision of a licensed health care provider. This role focuses on delivering compassionate service to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Support patients and providers throughout each visit, ensuring preparation and answering patient questions before discharge.
• Communicate via phone and in‑person to meet patient needs promptly and accurately.
• Document pertinent medical information in the company’s data systems, including patient registration when required.
• Maintain clinical knowledge, technical skills, and credentials through ongoing professional development.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program preferred.
• Experience handling confidential information in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Required skills

• Computer proficiency for data entry and retrieval, including Windows‑style applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and health care staff.
