About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a full‑time Medical Assistant to support the Cardiovascular Medicine team at The Richard Jacobs Health Center in Avon, Ohio. You will work in a high‑tech outpatient environment, assisting cardiologists with patient care, screenings, and administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Gather and update patient health information, medication changes, allergies, and specimen collection.
  • Perform basic tests, document patient care, and monitor changes in patient condition.
  • Maintain equipment, medical supplies, and examination areas.
  • Handle clerical duties such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.

Required profile

  • Graduate of an approved medical assisting program or equivalent military medical training.
  • Completion of a clinical externship or extensive clinical experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain during new‑hire period).
