Media Manager, Performance Marketing

About the role

Beiersdorf is looking for a media manager in Stamford, CT to own the execution of paid digital media campaigns and the performance marketing strategy for the U.S. market. The role works with Brand, eCom and Consumer Experience teams to deliver a full-funnel approach that reaches and engages consumers at every stage.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run a performance marketing strategy focused on reach and engagement, aligned with a full-funnel approach
• Own paid digital media campaigns across video, social and programmatic/direct buys, keeping eCom plans in mind for key event periods
• Define campaign KPIs, measure performance regularly and adjust strategies to hit targets
• Manage media budgets weekly, monthly and annually, and oversee media flowcharts, audits, PO management and invoice processing with the Media Assistant
• Manage day-to-day media agency work, including flowcharts, firm/flex commitments, authorization forms, vendor selection and brand safety
• Work with the internal Media Analytics Manager so performance against KPIs informs future plans
• Partner with marketing and communication teams on creative alignment and on video, paid social, influencer and Google Search investments

Required profile

• BS/BA in a relevant field; MBA in Marketing or Business Administration preferred
• 8-12 years of experience in a digital agency and/or in fast-paced CPG, beauty or health and wellness
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking, able to take initiative, set priorities and lead a team
• Clear understanding of audience segmentation, consumer journey mapping and conversion funnels
