About the role
The University Hospital of Réunion is seeking a physician specialized in endocrinology, diabetology, or nutrition to join its South Endocrinology/Diabetes/Nutrition unit. The position is a short‑term contract covering a two‑month period in September/October 2022.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in a 15‑bed inpatient unit.
- Collaborate with two senior physicians and two interns.
- Participate in on‑call duties if desired.
- Ensure continuity of care and adherence to clinical protocols.
Required profile
- Medical specialist in Endocrinology, Diabetology, Nutrition, or General Medicine with significant experience in endocrine‑nutrition.
- Eligible for a Contractual Practitioner or senior PH position and currently available.
Required skills
- Expertise in endocrinology.
- Proficiency in diabetes management.
- Knowledge of nutrition therapy.
What we offer
- Full‑time contract with remuneration equivalent to a Contractual Practitioner, plus a 40% overseas allowance (approximately €5,100 net per month, before taxes and on‑call compensation).
- Travel expenses covered for the France metropolitan‑Réunion route.
