About the role
The Mechanical Supervisor oversees maintenance activities for critical building systems, ensuring reliable operation of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical equipment across campus facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate skilled tradespeople in HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical work.
- Plan, schedule, and track work orders using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs on building systems.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and university policies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience operating, maintaining, and repairing HVAC, plumbing, BAS, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency with a CMMS for managing work assignments.
- Valid driver’s license.
