Mechanical Installation Foreman

About the role

Dematic is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Installation Foreman to lead installation quality on customer projects across the United States. The role involves extensive travel to site locations, ensuring equipment meets Dematic standards and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee installation quality, including manufacturing and subcontractor work.
• Maintain quality checklists and submit corrective actions for any discrepancies.
• Conduct on‑site safety audits and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
• Assist with equipment trial runs and verify specifications.
• Provide schedule and resource reports to project managers or customers.
• Train contract labor and subcontractors on installation of material handling equipment.
• Write concise trip reports and identify problems for timely resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lb and work in various climates.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and off‑shifts with overtime compensation.
