AMR Systems Engineer

About the role

The Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) Systems Engineer designs and implements integrated AMR hardware and software solutions for customers worldwide. You will work closely with global teams to deliver customer‑centric systems, manage fleet‑management software, and ensure successful on‑site commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate design of AMR equipment for various material handling applications.
• Configure AMR fleet‑management software and commission hardware at customer sites.
• Define mid‑level and top‑level AMR behavior and create detailed testing specifications.
• Document baseline performance, drive actions to maintain system performance, and serve as primary on‑site customer contact during implementation.
• Develop and deliver training programs for end‑users on site.

Required profile

• 0‑4 years experience with Autonomous Mobile Robots or AGV integration.
• Strong understanding of automated handling tools, electronics, and equipment maintenance.
• Hands‑on capability in installation and commissioning of mobile automation systems.
• Fluent English; Chinese language skills are a plus.

• Autonomous Mobile Robot systems
• PLC design, ladder logic, structured text (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens)
• CAD software – AutoCAD (E‑Plan a plus)
• Industrial networking – EthernetIP, DeviceNet, ProfiNet, Profibus; wireless networking experience
