Mathematics Instructor – Full‑time – Liberty Campus

About the role

Savannah Technical College is seeking a full‑time Mathematics Instructor for its Liberty Campus. The instructor will deliver undergraduate math courses, develop curricula, and support student success across multiple campus locations.

Key responsibilities

• Teach lecture and laboratory sections in mathematics.
• Develop syllabi, learning objectives, and assessment tools.
• Evaluate student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Advising and mentoring students on academic matters.
• Maintain classroom safety and manage instructional supplies.
• Participate in professional development, workshops, and conferences.
• Collaborate with department head and other faculty to improve programs.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics.
• Minimum 12 months documented teaching experience at a regionally accredited post‑secondary institution.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible teaching schedules and travel between campuses.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Experience using Banner and Blackboard learning management systems.
