Materials Management Manager (Doral, FL)

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth is seeking a full‑time Manager, Materials Management to lead supply chain systems and processes for its Doral campus. This role will develop scalable, reliable solutions and set the strategic vision for materials management across the university.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with staff, senior management and other departments to plan, build and launch high‑quality product experiences.
• Utilize internal data, market research and marketplace intelligence to align plans and tactics.
• Manage the product development lifecycle from conception through design, testing and iteration.
• Develop and deliver multi‑year strategic plans and define product roll‑out strategies.
• Set objectives, goals and performance metrics, and analyze data to optimize performance.
• Design business‑process changes to simplify and optimize end‑to‑end operations.
• Recruit, train and develop staff to improve department efficiency.
• Establish and assess internal controls and ensure compliance with university policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of business and management principles.
• Ability to direct, manage, evaluate department operations and set strategic goals.
• Proven leadership, motivation, training and development skills.
