Master Clinical Application Analyst

About the role

The Master Clinical Application Analyst supports the EMR Services team at UAMS, focusing on the Epic Beacon application. The role requires independent work, expert knowledge of system functionality, and leadership of a small technical team.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, test, and optimize the Epic Beacon application to ensure system integrity and compliance.
• Lead troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and resolution of complex system issues.
• Coordinate with users, IT teams, vendors, and operational staff to define workflows and implement solutions.
• Oversee application integration, security, and production changes supporting clinical operations.
• Provide on‑call support and mentor junior analysts.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in computer science, nursing, or related healthcare field (or equivalent experience).
• At least four years of application systems development and testing experience, including two years in a healthcare delivery setting.
• One year of experience managing a process or application.
• Epic Beacon certification required.

• Epic Beacon (certified).
