Marketing Project Manager

About the role

The Marketing Project Manager is a member of Marketing's Project Management Office (PMO) and defines how projects are executed using tools and technology that give consistency and transparency. The role orchestrates the development and socialization of projects, providing end-to-end project management for strategic initiatives, omni-channel marketing campaigns and business-critical initiatives. It reports to the Program Manager, Marketing Operations PMO, with no direct reports.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to completion, including scope, plans, meeting cadence, budgets and deliverables, while identifying and mitigating risks
• Facilitate communication across teams, lead meetings, track progress and hold teams accountable for deadlines
• Run retrospectives and process improvements, oversee discovery, proposal, testing and implementation of changes, and maintain PMO documentation
• Build dashboards, progress reports and stakeholder updates, tracking key metrics and keeping leadership informed

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• Preferred: bachelor's degree or equivalent; preferred: 5 years of experience
• Preferred: project management certifications and experience with Workfront, SmartSheet, Jira or similar tools
• Typical travel of 5% to 20% of the time, mostly indoors

Required skills

• Project management expertise: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring budgets and deliverables, closing, risk management and stakeholder communication
• Proficiency in project management software such as Workfront, SmartSheet or Jira
• Cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, problem-solving and adaptability
