Marketing Manager, CRM

About the role

Grove Collaborative is seeking a technically sharp, analytically driven marketer to lead its CRM initiatives. You will shape lifecycle and trigger programs that connect millions of customers with sustainable household and personal care products, leveraging AI tools and a deep understanding of modern CRM architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Own and optimize Grove's lifecycle and trigger ecosystem, including Braze canvases, targeting, exclusion logic, Liquid personalization, and integrations with Shopify and Recharge.
• Design, execute, and operationalize A/B and multivariate tests across email, push, SMS, and in‑app channels, maintaining a continuous testing pipeline.
• Build, QA, and deploy campaigns and canvases directly in Braze across multiple channels.
• Analyze campaign and trigger performance weekly and monthly, translating data into actionable insights.
• Provide strategic guidance for lifecycle program decisions, prioritizing tests and identifying high‑impact opportunities.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, analytics, creative, and merchandising teams to integrate CRM with new personalization and loyalty infrastructure.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in CRM or lifecycle marketing, preferably at a multi‑category direct‑to‑consumer retailer.
• AI‑native mindset, regularly leveraging AI tools to accelerate execution and enhance personalization.
• Strong analytical skills with a data‑driven approach to optimization.
• Comfort working with complex technical architectures, including custom event payloads and subscription platform data.

Required skills

• Hands‑on expertise with Braze (canvases, campaigns, content blocks, Liquid logic, segmentation, custom events).
• Proficiency in Liquid templating language.
• Experience integrating CRM systems with Shopify.
• Familiarity with Recharge or similar subscription platforms.
