Marketing & Events Specialist

About the role

The Marketing & Events Specialist will promote the School of Engineering Medicine’s mission and raise its visibility through strategic marketing, digital engagement, and event promotion. You will create integrated campaigns, manage digital and social platforms, produce compelling content, and coordinate signature events that connect with our community.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across email, web, social media, print, and digital advertising.
• Manage campaign timelines, content calendars, and coordinate with creative and communications teams.
• Track, analyze, and report on marketing and event metrics, providing insights for optimization.
• Lead and grow the organization’s social media presence, creating and scheduling engaging content.
• Plan and coordinate events, handling logistics, vendor relations, and on‑site execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field.
• Minimum four years of professional marketing experience.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong editing and proofreading abilities.
• Effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
